01Clarify the channel’s job

Write one sentence explaining why the business uses this channel. Choose a primary role such as discovery, customer education, community updates or relationship-building. If the sentence lists every possible benefit, narrow it to the outcome that matters this quarter.

  • Who should recognise the content?
  • What should they understand after seeing it?
  • What sensible next step is available?
  • How will you know the channel helped?

02Review the audience response

Look beyond the posts with the largest reach. Find examples that generated relevant questions, profile visits, saves, website visits or conversations. Note the subject, format and customer situation represented in each one.

The useful question is not “What performed best?” It is “What helped the right people move closer to a useful decision?”

03Inspect the workflow

Map how an idea becomes a published post and how responses are handled. Identify the slowest approval, the information that is repeatedly missing and any task that depends on one person remembering it.

  • Idea capture
  • Drafting and fact-checking
  • Image or asset preparation
  • Approval
  • Publishing
  • Replies and escalation
  • Monthly review

04Make three decisions

Choose one practice to continue, one to improve and one to stop for the next month. Give each decision an owner and a review date. Do not add a new platform unless the current review shows a clear audience and business reason.
